Equity cash flow

« Back to Glossary Index

Cash flow generated by a company available to remunerate shareholders, once all prior expenses and obligations have been satisfied. This flow for the shareholder materializes in dividends, the remainder, share buybacks, and the increase in cash surpluses. It is obtained from free cash flow after paying debt service without considering the tax impact on corporate income tax of debt interest and extraordinary payments.
